Andrea Peiro
Andrea is the CEO of the Small Business Technology Institute and a recognized authority on small business technology, international speaker and fervid advocate of the values of the small business community.
Andrea is also the Founder and Director of the SBDC - Technology Advisory Program, a Government-funded management consulting practice dedicated to improving business operations by providing complimentary technology consulting services to small businesses across Northern California.
He is also Publisher of "Small Business Technology Magazine," a quarterly publication dedicated to helping entrepreneurs understand and adopt information technologies to succeed.
Andrea has covered executive roles in military intelligence, business development, marketing and general management at various technology companies, start-up ventures and consulting firms. He holds a BS in Information Management, an Advanced Bachelors degree in Information and Computer Science and a Master in Management

Patrick Cook
Patrick is the Director of the Small Business Technology Institute’s Consultancy Practice, and a Principal of the Institute’s Business Intelligence Division. Patrick is also the Director of the innovative SBDC TAP Program, which is a government-funded, unbiased management consulting practice hosted by the Small Business Technology Institute that specializes in improving business operations by providing complimentary consulting and low-cost training services to small businesses across Northern California.
Patrick’s experience has run the gamut from Global Fortune 30 companies to venture start-ups, and includes a spell as a Corporate Banker for an international bank. As an IT Executive he has held senior positions in a number of diverse industries, including banking, retail and digital imaging playing a pioneering role in the adoption of eCommerce in the UK. He holds a BA in English Language and Literature and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Hassan Beydoun
Hassan Beydoun is a Managing Director of the Small Business Technology Institute services practice, and a Senior Analyst for its Market Intelligence practice. Mr. Beydoun is a respected consultant and trainer in the area of small business management and information technology. He consulted and trained hundreds of small businesses and helped them identified aligned technology solution with their business objectives. Mr. Beydoun has also managed several market research studies on the state of technology adoption among small business.
Previous to his role at the SBTI, Mr. Beydoun was the Co-Founder and CEO at Nuvowave, a technology company in the wireless networking industry. He previously assumed program management and lead engineering positions at Agilent Technologies and HP where he worked on the development of next generation cellular networks.
Mr. Beydoun holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. He pursued his executive management studies at Stanford University, where he hold a certification in strategy and portfolio management.

Sergey Mariniuk
Sergey Mariniuk is a veteran of the Information Technology field, specializing in Business Systems Infrastructure. He has years of experience designing and developing communications and networking solutions for over 100 private and public sector clients. Recently he has begun his own consulting business helping small businesses implement robust networks.
While his expertise lays in business systems infrastructures, Sergey's deep technology background has encompasses a wide range of technology solutions. He has significant knowledge in integrating hardware and software solutions for complex telephony, secure computer networks, video services and web based technologies.
As one of the initial SBDC TAP consultants, he was instrumental to the success of the program. Already, he has helped 50+ small businesses implement viable, affordable infrastructure solutions. His work at SBDC TAP and at his own business has further honed his already keen ability to identify and address the needs of the small businesses.
